Privacy Policy

What Roamly collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to remove it. Roamly is run by Panshul Bharadwaj in India. We don’t sell your data and advertising features are off.

What we collect

• Account: your email and, with Google sign-in, your name, handled by Supabase.
• Trips: the searches you run, the itineraries you save, share snapshots, and Travel Together drafts, published trips, join requests, introductions and reports.
• Plus purchases: order and payment IDs, amount, currency, the pass end date and your email for the receipt. Card, UPI and billing details are collected by Razorpay or Dodo Payments, never by Roamly.
• Usage: how many AI plans you made each day, to apply limits, and anonymous analytics about how the site is used.

Please don’t enter sensitive medical or personal details in trip preferences.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare hosts Roamly and its database.
• Supabase handles Google and email sign-in.
• Anthropic, our AI provider, receives your trip preferences only when you ask for a plan.
• openrouteservice receives the towns and stops of a road trip to measure the drive; nothing about you is sent with them.
• Razorpay (India) and Dodo Payments (elsewhere, as Merchant of Record) process payments and keep the records the law requires.
• Resend sends receipts and trip invites.
• Google Analytics measures visits. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them; until then Google receives cookieless, anonymous signals. Addresses are sent without IDs or invite tokens. Change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

What others can see

Published Travel Together itineraries and your chosen host name are public. Hosts see the introductions you send them; private meeting details are shown only to approved travellers. Shared trip links can be opened by anyone who has them.

Security

Saved trips, search history, emails, Travel Together plans and join requests are encrypted before they are stored. Billing records (order IDs, amounts, dates) are stored unencrypted so purchases can be looked up.

Keeping and deleting your data

Delete searches in History and saved trips in My trips at any time. Withdrawn or cancelled Travel Together activity keeps a record for safety reports. To delete your account and its data, email us from the account’s address; payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
